Gan Hayeled

Gan Hayeled” is a rehabilitation center for children with special needs.
A non- profit organization which was established in Haifa in 1977 by a group
of volunteers, this unique institution was created to provide special-ed. kids
with a therapeutic environment that offers structured opportunities for social
interaction, physical fitness and  enrichment activities.
Population Classes from special schools Kindergartens with special need.
Children with special needs who learn in special classes integrated in regular
schools. 45 of these classes come to "Gan Hayeled" on a weekly basis for
3 hours of educational and social activities. About 700 children, from
kindergarten to high school, come to "Gan Hayeled" weekly for the morning
afternoon and weekend program.
Vision To build our children's self image and self confidence teaching and
practicing social behavior in order to assist their integration into society.
To enrich the children's lives culturally & emotionally
Special Programs Social activities, movement and physical education,
outdoor hiking and camping, animal care, therapeutic gardening.
