from Haifa and the surrounding areas.
Main Characteristics Mental retardation. (Down’s Syndrome, Fragile X
Cerebral Palsy, Autistic traits, Hyperactivity)
Vision We believe that the disabled child deserves a life of dignity, appreciation
love and warmth equal to any other human being. Learning daily living skills,
provide them with real life experiences, will enable them to develop personal
autonomy to fulfill their potential to the utmost so they will grow to be a happy
citizen who can contribute to society and is able to enjoy life in the community.
Special Programs Transition Plan: Getting around in the community,
maintenance of an apartment in the community.
Employment projects: army volunteering, old age home.
Therapeutic programs: Snoezelen, swimming lessons, horse riding.
Inclusion with regular elementary schools: Mass Media program- animation
comics, still & video photography.
Bar-Bat Mitzvah.
